When I got home I started looking into the possibility of realizing my vision but how could I ever afford a £multi-million Retreat property? Then, whilst at a Wedding Show with a friend, I met a lady who had a private mansion which she hired out. Bingo, I had a venue!

Next I had to decide on a company name, something that really encompassed what this unique business could offer. I reflected on how holistic therapies had helped me and felt that in addition to helping with stress and relaxation, they had really opened me up and given me an Insight into myself. Viola, ‘Insight Holistics’ was formed.

Now I had a name, I turned my attention to marketing. At least my background had given me a bit of a head start in this area. I had a hunch that I wasn’t alone in suffering from stress but decided to conduct some market research and was astounded by the large number of people who were suffering out there. It quickly became clear that there was a great need for the services that Insight Holistics could offer and I set about putting a Day Retreat programme together that would really help people. In addition to my ‘relaxation therapies’ I enlisted the services of an extraordinary ‘mind therapies’ practitioner as well as the best Beauty Therapist I had ever met. I now had an exceptional team of mind, body and soul practitioners.
